BONTERRA /
Organic Estates Winery
My work with Bonterra began with the evolution of an existing key visual and grew into an ongoing creative partnership across campaign, digital, and social content. At every touchpoint, the challenge has remained the same: preserve the familiarity of an established organic wine brand while giving its story greater atmosphere, appetite, and emotional connection.

FOUNDATION
Build on what Bonterra already owns: organic credibility, approachability, and a deep connection to the earth. Then bring those equities into a richer, more contemporary visual world.
BRAND FOUNDATION
Bonterra already had a clear point of view: good wine begins with good earth. My role was not to reinvent that idea, but to make it more tangible by connecting the organic story to the actual ritual of wine: poured, shared, paired with food, and experienced in real moments.

01 / KEY VISUAL EVOLUTION
A Familiar Idea, Brought to Life
Starting with an existing campaign asset, I evolved the visual system through clearer varietal distinction, richer atmosphere, and more sensory product storytelling.

STARTING POINT
The original key visual established the right equities: wine, greenery, and the earth beneath it. I retained those recognizable elements while introducing greater depth, refreshment, and product distinction, creating a system flexible enough to extend across Bonterra's core varietals.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
The creative direction aimed for organic without rustic and polished without precious. Still-life influence, layered botanicals, luminous wine moments, and a cooler editorial palette helped move Bonterra's established visual language into a fresher, more dimensional campaign world.

Using an organic watercolor wash to connect sky and earth, giving the composition greater depth while keeping the natural world central to the story.
The awards medal was refined with subtle dimensionality, allowing it to feel integrated into the visual rather than sitting flat against it.
Movement within the wine splash adds energy and refreshment while echoing the circular form of the surrounding botanical sphere.

DIGITAL & SOCIAL ART DIRECTION
Bringing the Brand Into the Moment
Product, food, light, and the rituals around a shared bottle are art directed to feel lived-in, approachable, and distinctly Bonterra.

Wine made for the table.
The content direction centers on recognizable occasions: a poolside lunch, a casual gathering, a laid-back brunch. Bonterra belongs naturally within the moment, with the bottle remaining important without overtaking the atmosphere, appetite, or human warmth around it.

BONTERRA OCCASIONS
The social system moves between styled product storytelling and softer human presence. Some images are deliberately bottle-led; others allow Bonterra to simply inhabit the occasion. Together, they create variety while maintaining a consistent sense of warmth, ease, and appetite.
